Stavrovouni Monastery – Larnaca – Cyprus

Kikos Monastery is located in the mountainous region of the Martha Valley. The monastery is the richest and most magnificent on the island, and stands on a mountain top, at an altitude of 1,318 meters.

The monastery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and holds one of the three icons attributed to the evangelist Agios Lucas.

You can enter the outer parts of the monastery and the patio at any time, but if you want to enter the monastery itself it is advisable to find out opening hours.
