Olympus is the highest mountain in Cyprus. The mountain rises to a height of 1952 meters. It is the culmination of the Troodos ridge, a huge dome that covers the southwestern third of the island.
In winter the summit of Olympus is snowy and even has a ski resort where you can ski.
Sometimes the snow lasts until April.
In summer as in Cyprus it will be hot at the summit but the strong winds blow in it at all times.
In the area there are many walking paths. It is recommended to stop and take a circular route in one of them.
