Cacopetria is a picturesque village at the foot of Mount Troodos. It stands at an altitude of 667 meters (this is the highest village in the valley in the “Solia” area). The climate is relatively dry, and it receives an average annual rainfall of about 648 millimeters. The area has mainly apple, pear, plum, apricot, peach and cherry trees. The community has about 1300 permanent residents. In the village flows the Clarius River which gives it a picturesque and magical look.
