Vardi Vela Sailing School

Vardi Vela Sailing School was established by Erez Vardi, a skipper and professional instructor with many years of sailing experience and sailing instruction in Israel and around the world. We offer you a sailing experience at a different level, with a personal approach to each and every one of you along the way.
A variety of sailing activities such as skipper courses, sailing workshops for children, professional training, competitive cruises, cruises abroad and more.
The Vardi Vela Sailing School will accompany you until you receive your license in a family atmosphere, at your own pace and at the highest professional level.

ISSA International Skipper

The Vardi Vela Sailing School is the official representative of the International Sailing School Organization ISSA.
Qualified to teach and grant ISSA licenses in Israel and around the world, open new ISSA schools in Israel as well, transfer instructor courses and master’s courses to a commercial license for grades 200, 350 and 500 tons.
The level of professionalism, the high standards and the wide international distribution of the organization were a decisive factor in Vardi’s decision to choose ISSA.
ISSA’s skipper licenses are recognized by Google and can be converted into an Israeli 30 sailing license.
Certified Skipper – You can cross over to the ISSA license.

The yacht Giselle Giselle
The Giselle is a wonderful, double-masted study yacht with a unique design that is very different from other modern yachts,
Has a complex set of sails, many vichy systems, a rising keel and lots of teamwork.
This array turns the Giselle into: “an amazing ship that easily copes with extreme sea conditions, develops amazing speeds and requires a deep understanding of interpretation” which makes it an ideal first-class learning boat.
Anyone who learns to sail on the Giselle knew how to sail very easily on any other sailing vessel.
Giselle is currently in Cyprus and serves as the study boat of ISSA College with Erez Vardi.
