Portimao, Portugal

Portimao is located on the Arade River, a tourist coastal town with good yacht infrastructure. You can moor in several areas in the river and thanks to the breakwaters you can also moor in a variety of conditions, you can also moor in a marina that provides standard services at a good level.

There are several shipyards here and a wide range of yacht services, a variety of works can be done on all ship systems. Portimao has a number of great writers to stock up on and most of them are close to the water line. You can refuel at the marina or at the Repsol refueling dock a little upstream.

It is recommended not to moor in the mooring area at the entrance to the river in southern storms and to move to the mooring area next to the shipyard.
